Communication Training for Advocacy Campaigns

The fourth capacity building training of the Diversity of Colours Project for Queer activists, Communication Training for Advocacy will be held on Saturday 29th of February, 2020 between 10:00 and 18:00 at Human Rights House. The project is funded by the European Union and implemented by Queer Cyprus Association.

Communication Training for Advocacy Campaigns, will be given by Pınar İlkiz, Communications Director at Pikan Agency which is the first non-governmental agency in Turkey. In the first half of the training, which will start at 10:00, there will be interactive presentations on digital tools and the possibilities that they offer, digital campaigns and a discussion session specific to QCA to understand where Queer Cyprus stands on social media. In the second half of the training, the elements that should be considered in digital campaigns and previous campaigns of QCA will be discussed. The training will be end with a campaign design workshop.

The training is for Queer Cyprus Association members, however it is open to everyone who are willing to become a member.
