Diversity of Colours Project
Lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex and beyond (LGBTI+), the Diversity of Colours Project for a Cyprus where all colours can coexist!
This project aims to improve access of LGBTI+’s to human rights and to prevent discrimination in the northern part of Cyprus. The Diversity of Colours Project started on December 2018 and will continue for 3 years, it is funded by the European Union under the “Cypriot Civil Society in Action VI” Grant Scheme and implemented by Queer Cyprus Association.
Rainbow Project
The Rainbow Project, which is funded by the European Union under the Cypriot Civil Society in Action VII Grant Scheme and implemented by the Queer Cyprus Association, commenced on 13 April 2022 and will continue for 30 months. The project aims to increase LGBTI+ inclusiveness in the education and health sectors in the northern part of Cyprus. With the support of relevant stakeholders, the Rainbow Project aims to ensure the capacity, effectiveness and sustainability of LGBTI+’s rights to education and health, as well as increasing LGBTI+ community members’ access to these rights. Moreover, the project will contribute to increasing the diversity of the Queer Cyprus Association’s supporters through the project’s community-building activities.

COMMIT Project
”Coordinated Measures and Mechanisms for Anti-trafficking (COMMIT)”, funded by European Union and implemented by Refugees Rights Association (RRA), in partnership with Cyprus Turkish Bar Association, Famagusta Youth Centre Association, LTB, Queer Cyprus Association, Turkish Cypriot Human Rights Foundation, Turkish Cypriot Journalists Association, with the associates SOS Children’s Village. The project aims to contribute to efforts to increase knowledge on and generate effective and coordinated response to all forms of THB.
Unspoken Project
“Elephant In the Room is a metaphorical idiom for an obvious truth that is either being ignored or going unaddressed”.
Unspoken is a project which aims to strengthen the dialogue in the northern part of Cyprus on issues regarding Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex (LGBTI) rights. The two-year project is supported by the European Union under “Cypriot Civil Society in Action Program” and is being implemented by the Cyprus Community Media Centre in collaboration with Thomson Foundation and Queer Cyprus Association.

Stronger Together Project
The 'Stronger Together Project' aims to contribute to the fight by Queer Cyprus to strengthen the socio-economically vulnerable LGBTI + community in the northern part of Cyprus. In addition, raising awareness of the socio-economic problems faced by LGBTI+s, developing technical capacity to raise the voices of LGBTI+s who are socio-economically vulnerable and at risk, and creating a platform for continuing advocacy activities, and finally, potential LGBTI+ It aims to improve access to rights through employment counseling to victims and those at risk.
Life Project
For a Cyprus where Lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex and beyond (LGBTI+) will be free from exploitation! The Life Project!
LGBTI+ In Freedom from Exploitation (LiFE) Project is funded by the European Union under the Together Against Trafficking in Human Beings Grant Scheme and implemented by Queer Cyprus Association in cooperation with KAOS-GL. It started on 8 May 2019 and will last for 30 months. The project aims to contribute to the efforts of LGBTI+’s who are victims, potential victims of trafficking in human beings and those at risk in the northern part of Cyprus.
Helix Project
The Helix Project aims to contribute to better safeguarding the LGBTI+'s civil rights in the
northern part of Cyprus. As we face challenges after challenges on the journey to achieving
equality for all, the Helix Project will follow a process that will increase the resilience of
LGBTI+ community in general, and our organization and activism in particular.
