Queer Cyprus is a civil society movement that started in 2008 with the name of “Initiative Against Homophobia” to change the discriminatory laws in the north of Cyprus and to create public opinion for the rights and freedoms of Lesbian Gay Bisexual Trans and Intersex people. Queer Cyprus embraces diversity and wages a feminist, anti-militarist, ecologist and veganist struggle against all forms of oppression.
