QCA Fundraising Training
The first capacity building training of the Diversity of Colours Project for Queer activists will be held on Saturday 30th of March, 2019 between 10:00 and 18:00 at Queer Cyprus Association’s Nicosia Office. The project is funded by the European Union and implemented by Queer Cyprus Association.
Three year project gave a start on December 2018 with the slogan ‘‘Lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex and beyond (LGBTI+), the Diversity of Colours Project for a Cyprus where all colours can coexist!’’ and it aims to improve access of LGBTI+’s to human rights and to prevent discrimination in the northern part of Cyprus.
Fundraising Training will be given by Cemil Hafız, Fundraising and Communication specialist. In the first half of the training, which will start at 10:00 am, there will be variety of theoretical information about fundraising include; individual and corporate fundraising, developing fundraising strategy, planning fundraising activities for the sustainability and the monitoring and evaluation of these plans. In the second half of the training which be held afternoon, activists will put their theoretical knowledge into practice with the guidance of Cemil Hafız.
The training is special for Queer Cyprus Association members and open to everyone who are willing to become a member.
