Queer Cyprus Association & Accept LGBTI Cyprus Organized a Workshop

Yesterday (29.09.2019),  Queer Cyprus Association and Accept LGBTI Cyprus organized a workshop at Civil Space to prepare a memorandum of understanding. This event helped activists to see the progress of the LGBTI+ movement in Cyprus over the time, and allowed them to talk about their commonalities between two associations. Thus, Queer Cyprus and Accept LGBTI Cyprus aim to achieve a sustainable advocacy on the common ground.

Activists expressed their gratitude to Selen Lermioğlu and Elena Sophocleous, who facilitated the workshop all day long and contributed to the preparation of the groundwork for their common activities.

As Queer Cyprus Association, they emphasized that they always give importance to diversity and intersectionality in their works and they said that the association is welcoming to everyone who wanted to contribute to their work.
