Unspoken_Media Monitoring Report

The Media Monitoring Report of 2015-2016-2017 prepared within the scope of Unspoken: Creating Dialogue on LGBTI Rights in the Turkish Cypriot community is developed through regular monitoring of two printed and two internet newspapers.

Queer Cyprus is a civil society movement that started in 2008 with the name of “Initiative Against Homophobia” to change the discriminatory laws in the north of Cyprus and to create public opinion for the rights and freedoms of Lesbian Gay Bisexual Trans and Intersex people. Queer Cyprus embraces diversity and wages a feminist, anti-militarist, ecologist and veganist struggle against all forms of oppression.
